In Jan-February SOCAR increased oil export via Novorossiysk port by almost 50% to 254.3 thousand tons

​In Jan-February 2015 SOCAR increased the oil export via the Novorossiysk port by 49.9% to 254.3 thousand tons against the same period in 2014, the company reports.

In February 2015 84.8 thousand tons of the Azeri oil were shipped from the Russian port, where raw materials are pumped by the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, against 84.9 thousand tons in February 2014.

The transportation of the Azeri oil by the Northern route is held on the basis of the commercial agreement signed on February 18th 2014 between SOCAR and Transneft. The parties extended the agreement until the end of 2015. The conditions of the document are not released.

In 2014 SOCAR shipped 932.155 thousand tons of oil from the Novorossiysk port.
