Gas consumption maintained at the level of 48 billion cubic meters

In 2013, the consumption of natural gas in the Ukraine will be maintained at the level of the previous year – 48 billion cubic meters. Such assessment was given by the Deputy Minister of Energy and Coal Industry and Chief of Civil Service Vladimir Makukha, as the RBK-Ukraina transmits.
“We prepare a prognostic balance and don’t provide for the reduction of purchases in it – we will maintain it at the same level. Of course, we won’t be able to forecast the way of the economy development, but, according to the prediction, we have the 3% increase. A significant fall won’t happen. The balance-2013 will be the same, as last year,” – V.Makukha noted, as the RBK reports.
