Gazprom to begin to create a consortium to extend the Nord Stream

Gazprom and Dutch Gasunie plan to sign a memorandum on participation of the latter in the construction of the third spring of the Nord Stream gas pipeline, the Kommersant writes on Wednesday, referring to its sources. This must take place next week, during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Netherlands. Thus, Gazprom will begin to create a new consortium for the Nord Stream extension.

On Tuesday, the Russian ambassador in the Netherlands Roman Kolodkin stated that within the visit of Vladimir Putin to this country Gazprom and Renova would sign documents with Dutch partners, the agency Business-Tass transmitted that day. “…Gazprom, as we suppose, will sign an agreement with one of the largest Dutch companies – Gasunie. They have had an intensive cooperation and this will be an addition,” - the diplomat reported.
