Gazpromneft completes the test of the well for the survey of shale oil reserves of the Krasnoleninsk field

Gazpromneft has completed the drilling of the first prospecting and appraisal well with the aim to industrially survey and test the Bazhenov and Abalaksky horizon of the Palyanov area of the Krasnoleninsk field (which is developed by Gazpromneft-Khantos). A natural flow of gas-oil mixture with yield of 80 cubic meters per day was received at the well.

The study of core and test of perspective layer’s horizon confirmed the presence of high conductivity channels in layers of shale oil, the company’s press centre reports.
