Gazprom has taken off all fines for incomplete gas collection, removing take-or-pay practice, and making less tough the terms of daily and monthly gas collection. However, still, it’s more advantageous for the energy producers to work with independent suppliers, able to reduce prices.
Since 2013, Gazprom Mezhregiongaz revised all contracts with the clients, fully taking off all fines for incomplete gas collection, i.e. removing take-or-pay practice.
