Exxon states a sharp rise of natural gas consumption in the world

The demand for natural gas in the world will be growing by the fastest steps compared to other variants of energy, head of Exxon, R. Tillerson, said.
“Though recoverable sources of energy keep growing by fast rates, the most important tendency we see is the demand for natural gas which will grow by 65% by 2040. This will be the highest growth among all types of energy”, Mr. Tillerson said.
Exxon is the operator of the Sakhalin-1 project. Russia is the largest supplier of natural gas in the world market.
