Lukoil estimates its interest in projects in Iran at billions of dollars

The largest Russian oil private company Lukoil has intended to invest billions of dollars in various projects in Iran. Such a statement to the press was made by head of the company Vagit Alekperov, after the meeting with the Iranian Minister of Oil Bidzhan Namdar Zanganeh, held in Vienna after the OPEC meeting.

"Judging the scale of the deposits, which we are studying today, it will be a multibillion-dollar investments," - said Alekperov, asked about the cost of possible contracts.

He also said he planned to go to Tehran in September, where he would talk about the likely participation in the development of fields in Iran.
