Oil extraction in Russia in May didn’t change and made up 10.83 mln barrels a day

Oil extraction in Russia in May 2016 didn’t change against April 2016 and made up 10.83 mln barrels a day but rose by 130,000 barrels a day against May 2015, Energy Aspects reports.

We expect in 2017 oil extraction in Russia to grow again but at lower rates, less than 50,000 barrels a day due to the significant reduction of launch of new projects, the agency says.

Energy Aspects says that the export of crude oil in May fell to 4.69 ml barrels a day against April but grew by 390,000 barrels a day against May 2015.
