Until 2026 SOCAR plans to construct 5 new offshore basis at the Bulla-Deniz deposit, the first Vice-President of SOCAR, H. Yusifadze said.
Currently the drilling of an exploratory well #78 with the project capacity of 5,900 m is being held from the new platform #6 at the Bulla-Deniz deposit. The project of development of this deposit presupposes the construction of 5 new offshore basis at it for the drilling of 26 wells, he said.
The offshore deposit Bulla-Deniz was discovered in 1973 and put into operation in 1975. The deposit is on the balance of the Oil and Gas Extraction Management n.a. N. Narimanov.
