Ufaorgsintez (UOS), part of Bashneft, stopped the facilities for the production of low density polyethylene (LDPE) for scheduled preventive maintenance, according to a price review of ICIS-MRC.
As the company's customers have reported by June 2 Ufaorgsintez had stopped part of the capacities for LDPE production for routine maintenance. The remaining capacity for polyethylene (PE) is working with a reduced load. Repair work will be carried out within 12 days. The total capacity for the production of LDPE at is 88.4 thousand tons per year.
