Russian gas transit via the Ukraine to the EU can face difficulties

On Friday, the chief of Gazprom A. Miller claimed that the company forecasts high risks for Russian gas transit via the Ukraine to the EU within the forthcoming winter, if the republic does not execute the necessary measures for the intensification of gas injection to underground gas storages. In his opinion, for uninterrupted gas transit, the Ukranian underground gas storages should concentrate over 19 billion cubic m of gas and it should be injected in summer however now they have less than 7.5 billion cubic m only.
