In the first 6 months, Dnepropetrovsk metallurgical plant reduced production of rolled metal by almost a quarter

In January-June of this year, the Dnepropetrovsk metallurgical plant reduced the production of the general rolled metal by 23.3% as compared with the same period of the previous year to 1.252 million tons.

As a representative of the enterprise reported, in this period, the plant reduced the steel production by 22.5% to 1.234 million tons, and cast iron by 22.1% to 1.122 million tons.

In June, 222 thousand tons of rolled steel, 227 thousand tons of steel and 211 thousand tons of cast iron were produced.
In July, it’s planned to produce 235 thousand tons of steel and 268 thousand tons of cast iron, 480 thousand tons of agglomerate, which, in particular, will be needed to purchase 35 thousand tons of scrap metal.
