In 2013-2015, Rosneft to supply 4.65 billion cubic meters of gas to E.ON.Russia

In 2013-2015, Rosneft plans to supply 4.65 billion cubic meters of gas to E.ON Russia, the oil company reports.

The supplies of natural or dry topped gas will be carried out from January 1, 2013 untill December 31, 2015. The deal amount in the in money terms isn’t disclosed – the data is a trade secret in accordance with the contract terms, the RIA Novosti reports.

The deal was concluded on the 28th of August, 2012, and approved by the Rosneft’s Board of Directors on the 31st of May, 2012.

“E.ON Russia was registered on the 4th of March, 2005 in Surgut; 82.3% of its shares belong to E.ON Russia Holding GmbH – 100% subsidiary of the international energy concern E.ON AG.

E.ON Russia includes 5 thermal stations with the total capacity of 10.345 HWt: the Surgut GRES-2, Berezovsk GRES Shatura GRES, Smolensk GRES and Yayvinsk GRES. In 2011, the sales volume of electricity at the wholesale market was 64.794 billion kWt and heat power – 1.758 million Gcal.

It was reported earlier that the Rosneft’s Board of Directors could approve the deal of gas supply to Fortum to the amount of more than $500 million t the meeting on August, 31.

Earlier Novetak reported about the signing of 15-year contracts with E.ON Russia and Fortum. The total volume of gas supply to these two energy companies is expected to be 180 billion cubic meters. The gas supplies will be carried out to the Nyagan GRES and Chelyabinsk stations of Fortum.

In the beginning of August, it was reported that within the creation of joint venture Rosneft increased its share in the oil and gas company Itera from 6% to 51%. The joint venture’s consolidated proved and expected (2P) reserves under the international grading will make up 372.4 billion cubic meters of gas and 15.7 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons. The joint venture’s supposed volume of the gas production will make up about 13 billion cubic meters in 2013.
