In January – August, Southern GOK increased agglomerate production by 8.5%

In January – August, the Southern GOK increased production of agglomerate by 8.5% to 1.538 million tons, and iron ore concentrate by 1.3% to 7.043 million tons. In August, it made 920,000 tons of iron ore concentrate (+4.3%), and 129,000 tons of agglomerate (-16.8%).
Southern GOK is a large Ukrainian iron ore producer. In 2012, it increased production of agglomerate by 12.3% to 2.0229 million tons, and iron ore concentrate by 2.3% to 10.3861 million tons.
