Uzbekneftegas is about to invest $50 million into LNG production

“Uzbekneftegas” is going to invest $50 million into the project on liquefied natural gas production in Uzbekistan. Prime reports.

At present “Uzbekneftegas” is creating a project on the construction of two facilities on the extraction and processing of low-pressure gas at three abandoned fields in the Kashkadaryinsky region on the south of the country. Their total capacity is going to make up 200 million cubic metres a year, according to the Ministry of Uzbekistan. There expected about 20 thousand tons of LNG  production a year from this raw material. The project life is 2014-2016. The financing of the projects will be carried out at the expense of their own funding.
