Growth of oil processing in Russia to exceed throughput capacity of main pipelines

Upgrade of oil processing capacities in Russia will enable to increase the production of light oil products by 58% by 2016 as compared with 2012, the First Vice President of Transnefteprodukt Nicolay Gorban stated.

According to him, as a result it will be necessary to increase the acceptance of products from refineries to the system of main oil products pipelines from 30 million tons to 37 million tons by 2017 and to 54.5 million tons by 2020.
