Lukoil to expect its production abroad to increase 1.5 times in 2014 due to Iraq

The largest Russian private oil producer Lukoil, which has decreased its production three years running, expects that its largest foreign project – the Iraqi field Western Qurna-2 – will give over 5 million tons of oil in the next year that will provide more than 40% growth of the company’s production outside Russia in 2014, the Lukoil’s Vice President, Andrei Kuzyaev said at the summit to  Reuters.

In the current year, the company with imposing list of foreign assets that provide about 6% of the oil, extracted by Lukoil, for the present, predicts the production abroad at the level of 2012.
