Mikhail Barkov: Freezing of the tariffs of Transneft will most likely delay expanding of ESPO in Chinese direction

The freezing of the tariffs of Transneft will most likely delay the expanding of the ESPO pipeline in the Chinese direction, vice-President of the company, Mikhail Barkov said.

The RF authorities are going to freeze the industrial tariffs for gas, electricity and rail transportation in 2014 and increase them by the amount of inflation of the previous year during next two years. No official decision has been made about the tariffs of Transneft, though on Saturday the vice-PM for the fuel and energy sector, Arcady Dvorkovich confirmed, the decision about the freezing in 2014 had been principally made, though was not fixed documentary.
