Rosneft to share the deposit on the Caspian Sea with LUKOIL and Gazprom

The Caspian oil company, a JV of Rosneft, Gazprom and LUKOIL, got the license for the Zapadno-rakushechnoye deposit on the Caspian Sea. The Russian Prime Minister D.Medvedev signed the appropriate decree on October 2nd, it is reported on the web site of the government.

The company got the rights for geological exploration and production at the deposit, which was opened in 2008. Its resources are assessed at 64 million barrels of oil and up to 33 billion cubic feet of gas.
