The Ukraine increased natural gas import from Hungary 1.8 times in September

The Ukraine increased natural gas import from Hungary by 1.8 times to 238.2 million cubic meters in September against 131.2 million cubic meters in August. The Ukrainian freelance news agency reports citing the Hungarian gas transportation system FGSZ Ltd.

In the first half of August “Ukrtransgas”, the operator of gas transportation system of the Ukraine, carried out an operation on the expansion of carrying capacity of the gas corridor on the border with Hungary. So, the daily volume of pumping was increased by 60%. In July 2013 natural gas supply to the Ukraine from Hungary made up about 154 million cubic meters.
