Russian gas supplies to Slovakia via the Czech reverse are 1 billion cubic m forcing out the Ukrainian transit

The reduction in Russian gas supplies to Slovakia is connected with the growth in reverse supplies from the Czech republic, the Vice CEO of the National Energy Safety Fund, A. Grivach says.

The situation changed in September 2014. Daily supplies via the Velke Kapushany gas point at the border of Slovakia and the Ukraine reduced by 3-4 times to 50-60 million cubic m, and total flow from the Ukrainian territory reduced from 5.4 billion cubic m in September 2013 to 1.6 billion cubic m in September 2014, he says.
