Chernomorneftegas: the Crimea has sufficient gas volumes for the winter

​By the start of the heating season Chernomorneftegas has accumulated gas reserves at the volume of 1.27 bln cubic m at the Glebovsky underground storage. This volume is enough for the winter, gas use has started.

By the start of the heating season Chernomorneftegas has loaded 509 mln cubic m of gas into the Glebovsky underground storage, the volume of active gas reached 1.27 bln cubic m. The same volume was accumulated by the start of the heating season last year.

Chernomorneftegas says that today the total gas consumption in the Crimea is about 7 mln cubic m  a day, 2 mln cubic m out of this volume were collected from the underground storage yesterday, the rest 5 mln cubic m is the current extraction. Gas collection will be growing along with the temperature fall and rise of consumption at the peninsula.
