Lukoil has constructed a booster compressor station of $120 mln value for a project in Uzbekistan

The station will provide the additional extraction of over 1.5 mln cubic m of gas a day that taking into account the preliminary gas processing unit will give a 20% production growth, Lukoil said.

“Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company” Ltd (operator of Lukoil’s projects in Uzbekistan) has put into operation the booster compressor station at the gas field Khauzak-Shady in the Bukhara district, the operator reported on Wednesday.

“The project’s value is $120 mln. The station will provide the additional extraction of over 1.5 mln cubic m of gas a day that taking into account the reconstruction of the preliminary gas processing unit will give a 20% production growth at the field”, the company reports. The supplier of the main equipment of the booster compressor station is KNM Group BHD, Malaysia.
