Russian gas may become a reason for thef Ukrainian economy's collapse

Kiev states that Ukrainian Naftogaz is likely not to be able to pay for the supplies of Russian gas and to sink the last year debt because of utility provider’s non-payment. The debt is over $3 billion, but the Ukraine doesn’t have money and experts say that Moscow pressure will lead to nowhere. Russia may switch over the Ukraine to pre-paid payments system that threatens the Ukrainian economy with collapse.

Ukrainian Naftogaz informs that the terms of payment for Russian gas may be disrupted. A report, published by the company’s press centre on Monday, says that this can happen because of municipal heating companies that didn’t pay off their debts.
