Gazprom to reduce capital investment by 14% in 2015

The investment peak of Gazprom was within the period from 2010 to 2013, when average capital investments made up about $44 billion. The Deputy Chairman of the Board of Management and the head of the Department for Finance and Economics A.Kruglov stated during the meeting, Reuters reports.

“The current situation on the market causes some difficulties for our business…, but a significant reduction of capital investments let us form powerful cash flow,” speaker says.

A reduction of investments will not influence gas pipeline construction plans, Gazprom reports.
