Lukoil has put into operation a unit for prevention of hydrogen sulphide emission

Likoil-Komi, an affiliate of Lukoil, has put into operation a unit for sulphur production and granulation at the Bayandysky deposit, the company reports.

The unit will allow to fully utilize hydrogen sulphide. As a result the emission of hydrogen sulphide into the atmosphere will be fully stopped and that meets the order of the Government of Russia.

The Bayandysky deposit is located in the Usinsky district of Komi. The development of the deposit is the key point in the development of the Denisovsky license site.
