Yatsenyuk ordered Ministry of Energy to load maximum gas volumes into Ukraine’s gas storage facilities in summer

The Prime Minister of the Ukraine, A. Yatsenyuk, has ordered the Ministry of Energy and NAK Naftogas to load the maximum gas volumes into the Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities in the summer.

“The first goal for Ministry of Energy and NAK Naftogas is to load the maximum gas volumes into the Ukraine’s underground gas storage facilities at the lowest price. The oil price fall gives an opportunity to make a benefit of the favorable market environment and not to pay extra amounts to Russia”, Mr. Yatsenyuk said.

Previously he said that Kiev expects the gas price from the EU to be $250-300 per thousand cubic m in summer.
