Gazprom realizes a project of gas supply to China by itself

A. Medveved representing the top-management of Gazprom said that the company plans to construct the necessary infrastructure for gas supply to Chine on its own.

Gazprom doesn’t need financing from China. Chinese partners repeatedly made investment offers but then refused them by various reasons. It seems to observers that the Chinese investment companies and banks are not interested in a closer cooperation with Gazprom.

That’s why A. Medvedev said that Gazprom can complete the project on its own. In these conditions it will be necessary to correct the company’s budget. In 2016 Gazprom will export gas at $199/thousand cubic m.
