“Rostech” and Technip to develop hydrocarbon production technology together

State-run corporation “Rostech” and French Techip are about to create 2 joint enterprises on the output of the equipment and develop hydrocarbon production technology at the shelf together.

Under the memorandum of understanding, signed by the companies, one of the JVs will start an allocation of high-tech equipment production in Russia for oil-and-gas sector, including for oil production at the shelf in the Arctic zone and the Black Sea deposits. Within the frame of another JV there will be created an engineering centre for designing and construction of technically complex objects of oil processing, petrochemistry and gas chemistry.
