Accident on Vankor-Purpe oil pipeline promised to be liquidated today

Rosneft has reported about accident on the Vankor - Purpe main pipeline. The pumping oil from the Vankor field, which provides 4% of the Russia's production of "black gold", was stopped. The repair, according to the company, is projected to be completed by tonight.

The report says that it all started from the power outages to the 556-kilometer pipeline. As a result, it disrupts the work of transfer pumps, there was a water hammer and pipe break in two points. There is oil spill in these places, according to the press release, it is little.
