The purchase of a small Russian oil company Samara Nafta by Lukoil is step different to the recent purchase transactions, and can be a sign that the company has difficulties with maintenance of production in Russia, Fitch Agency reports.
The ability of the company to overcome the tendency of the decline in production and to stabilize oil production in Russia is the main rating factor.
