Since beginning of April, the Ukraine decreased gas import two times

Since the beginning of this month, the Ukraine sharply reduced imports of natural gas as compared with the second half of March. This follows from the statistics of the operator of the gas transportation system of the country Ukrtransgaz.

In the first two days of April, according to Ukrtransgaz, the Ukraine imported 6.2 million and 8 million cubic meters of "blue fuel", respectively. While in the period of March 16 to 31, the average daily import of gas in the country ranged from 13.6 million to 18.3 million cubic meters. This, we recall, concern only reverse supply from Eastern Europe since the Ukraine doesn’t receive fuel directly from Russia since November 25.
