Pervouralsk new pipe plant has mastered a new line of highly-profitable pipes finishing

​The new equipment will allow the Pervouralsk new pipe plant to expand the assortment and increase the capacity of the site of finishing by 25%.

The 10-roll straightener and disc pipe cutting line have been put into operation at the Pervouralsk new pipe plant (in the structure of ChTPZ). The new equipment will allow to improve the quality of straightening and cutting of cold-deformed round and shaped tubes, expand the assortment and increase the capacity of the finishing site by 25%. The investment into the project made up over 200 mln roubles. The producer of the straightening unit is Reika (Germany), of the tube cutting line – Prestar (Czech).

The equipment allows to treat the products with the length of 3-13 m, diameter of 22-120 mm, wall thickness of 2.5-12 mm.

The constant improvement is one of the main principles of metallurgy. The new line will allow to increase the volume of output of boiler and high-precision tubes for the fuel and energy sector, car manufacturing and aircraft manufacturing.
