The port of Novorossiysk has set a record on wagon handling

In March 2016 the Novorossiysk sea port set a record on the number of handled wagons a day.
In total in March 23 thousand 989 wagons were handled. On average 774 wagons were handled a day. This is a record for the port.
In Q1 2016 wagon handling rose by 23% against Q1 2015. Wagon handling with export cargo rose by 28%.
The growth of the unloading volume was the result of a great work on the efficiency rise of the port’s activity which is held by the Novorossiysk sea port for the past few years, CEO of the Novorossiysk sea trade port, S. Batov, said.
