In Q1, 2016, negation and consumption of electricity in Russia grew by 0.8%

In the first quarter of 2016, the electricity production in Russia grew by 0.8% as compared to the first quarter of 2015 and amounted to 294.1 billion kWh. This was reported by the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector on April 2, 2016.

The consumption of electricity also grew by 0.8% and amounted to 290.3 billion kWh.

In the first quarter of 2016, the electricity export remained at the level of the first quarter of 2015, amounted to 3.8 billion kWh.
