GMK “Norilsk Nickel” announced preliminary results of the production activity in Q1, 2016. According to the data, represented on the official web site of the company, the total volume of nickel production made up about 64 thousand tons in Q1, 2016. Copper production reached more than 87 thousand tons.
Palladium and platinum production by GMK “Norilsk Nickel” Group of companies showed growth compared to the same period last year. Palladium production made up 642 thousand ounces, platinum production 171 thousand ounces in Q1, 2016.
