Russia increased oil export Jan-April 2016 by 5.1%

​In Jan-April 2016 Russia increased oil export by 5.1% to 84.931 mln tons, the Central Dispatch Management of the Fuel and Energy sector reports.

In April 2016 oil export made up 22.19 mln tons, which is by 8.1% higher than in April 2015.

In Jan-April 2016 oil supply to the near abroad countries grew by 5.3% to 7.645 mln tons, to far-abroad countries – by 5% to 77.286 mln tons.

The supply of raw materials to the Russian oil refinery plants in Jan-April 2016 made up 91.951 mln tons, by 2.9% less than in 2015.

In Q1 2016 the oil export rose by 700 thousand tons by pipelines.

On the results of Q1 2016 the oil export rose by 3.8% to 62.652 mln tons.

Oil export by the system of Transneft to the far-abroad countries grew by 2.5% to 48.902 mln tons.

In 2015 oil export from Russia rose by 9.4% against 2014 to 244.485 mln tons.
