SOCAR signs new contract within upgrade of Baku refinery

Baku oil refinery n.a. Heydar Aliyev and the company Air Liquide have signed a contract to build a hydrogen production unit on the territory of the plant. This is stated in the message of the Azerbaijani state-owned company.

The signing ceremony was attended by SOCAR’s vice-president for refining David Mammadov, vice-president on strategic development Tofig Gahramanov, Air Liquide’s vice-president for global engineering and construction issues Domenico D'Elia, as well as representatives of the company’s management Jörg Ott and Benjamin Bug.
