In January – May, SOCAR exported over 8.392 million tons of profitable oil by BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan), by 341,000 tons less than within the corresponding period of the previous year. Exports were 1.429 million tons in January, 1.743 million tons in February, 1.411 million tons in March, 1.83 million tons in April, and 1.975 million tons in May.
The length of the pipeline are 1,768 km, including 443 km in Azerbaijan, 248 km in Georgia and 1,076 km in Turkey.
