Gold production can be 22 tons at Kolyma in 2013, that is more than in 2012, the acting governor of the Magadan region V. Pechyony says. Last year the region produced 20.737 tons of gold (+14.28%), 834.696 tons of silver (+7.3%), 7.59 tons of ore gold (+11.9%), and 13.15 tons of alluvial gold (+15.7%). In the beginning of the production season of 2013, the regional administration forecasted decline in gold production by 3% to 20.1 tons, and growth in silver production by 5% to 875 tons.
