Oil loading in Surgut region is up by almost 11% up to 18.9 mln tons in H1

Oil and oil products loading in the Surgut district increased by 10.7% up to 18.9 million tons in January-June 2014 against the same period last year. The head of Sverdlovsk Railroad (SvZhD, part of OJSC “RZhD”) A.Mironov said. “ the loading growth rate at SvZhD is mainly because of high paying freight. The growth is, first of all, due to active increase of the production and processing of hydrocarbons in the oil-and-gas sector in the north of Tyumen region, as well as the development of the Verchnekamsk deposit, the growth of potassium and nitrogen fertilizers at Solikamsk-Berezniki cluster, the production of building, mining and smelting cargo in Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Tagil regions,” ITAR-TASS reports citing Mironov.
