Rosneft and Eni to hold public hearings on drilling in Black Sea in August

On August 1st in Gelendzhik Shatskmorneftegas (JV of Rosneft and Eni) will hold public hearings about drilling at the West –Chernomorsky license site (Shatsky ridge).

The public discussions will refer the project documentation on the prospecting and appraisal well “Maria-1” and “North-Chernomorskaya-1” in the water area of the Black Sea on the prevention and elimination of oil and oil product spills at both wells. The counseling office is open in Gelendzhik from July 1st until August 1st 2014.

The construction of the prospecting and appraisal wells is planned in 2015-2016. The area of works is located within the water area of the Black Sea (the Russian sector), 50 km off the coast line.
