Gazprom Salavat Neftekhim stops the production of LDPE.

Bashkir company "Gazprom Salavat Neftekhim" (GSN), one of the largest Russian petrochemical producers, stopped the production of low density polyethylene (LDPE) for scheduled maintenance work, according to a price review of ICIS-MRC.
As representatives of the company inform, since July 1 capacities for LDPE were shut down to conduct routine maintenance. Preventive period will last for nearly 30 days. The annual production capacity is 45 thousand tons.
