Rosneft set a new record of driftage

​On the results of June Rosneft drilled 1,010,684 m of rocks. It became the new record on the volumes of driftage in the operational and exploratory drilling.

More than a half of the volume was drilled by the internal service enterprises of the company.

On June 28th 2016 a record of daily driftage at all exploratory projects of the company was renewed – 40,339 m. More than a half of the volume was drilled by the internal service enterprises of the company as well.

It was possible to renew the record by means of application of new approaches to the drilling of wells and implementation of highly-effective Russian drilling equipment which was purchased in the framework of the strategy on the renewal and modernization of internal service.

The development of the drilling service and increase of drilling volumes allow the company to execute the goal and grow the level of extraction to 300 mln tons of oil equivalent by 2020.
