Daily average steel making fell by 9% in the Ukraine in July

​After a sharp rise in May the Ukrainian production of metal products, steel and cast iron kept falling in July.

The metallurgical companies of the Ukraine in July 2015 on average produced 60.3 thousand tons of steel a day, by 9% less than in June and by 24% less than in July 2014, Metallurgprom reports.

The average daily cast iron output fell in July by 2.6% to 59.4 thousand tons compared to June – by 18% less than in July 2014. The output of saleable rolled products fell by 7% in monthly terms and by 21.7% in annual terms – to 55.4 thousand tons a day.

The actual steel output in the Ukraine over 7 months 2015 made up 13 mln 117 thousand tons, by 27% less than in Jan-July 2014.
