Isomerization unit has been launched at Kuibyshev oil refinery plant

The isomerization unit with the capacity of 280 thousand tons of raw materials a year has been put into operation at the Kuibyshev oil refinery plant,an affiliate of Rosneft.
The isomerization unit will allow the plant to produce a high-octane component – isomerization product – for the production of saleable car fuel with a low content of sulphur, benzol and aroma hydrocarbons in conformity with the highest ecological class “5” if the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (analogue of Euro-5). The use of class -5 fuel significantly lowers, and by some parameters totally excludes the contents of harmful substances in car emissions.
