Possibly, oil and gas industry of Russia to not suffer from western sanctions
Possibly, there won’t be damage to the oil and gas industry of Russia from Western sanctions, the Russian Energy Minister, Alexander Novak said in an interview with the Russia 24.
"Our colleagues, particularly business representatives say that, of course, the sanctions and, in general, the policy shouldn’t be used in the economy, in the energy relationship... It's difficult to say about the damage in some figures. Today it is difficult to calculate it. All will depend on how it will develop in the future. If it is, let's say, stopped in a short time, probably, maybe, there won’t be any significant damage. Companies try to continue the relationship among themselves, as in the supply of equipment, as in projects financing. And we hope that it will continue, and there won’t be political pressure on the companies from certain countries,"- said Novak.
