Refinery to be launched in the Penza region
A refinery in the Kolyshleysk district of the Penza region will be launched during the next six months, the governor of the region, Vasily Bochkarev, who visited the project under construction, has reported.
A storage unit has been built already, and the installation of a Russian oil processing facility was completed. The plant will master the production of gasoline, diesel and fuel oil. The planned capacity of the oil processing is up to 70 thousand tons per year.
"We must now implement high-tech methods of the refining - secondary distillation, which will not only increase the output of petrol, but will also increase its octane number. This requires an expansion of the plant’s site," - said Vasily Bochkarev.
