In January-August 2014 the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), excluding joint ventures and operating companies, made 89.375 thousand meters of drilling. "87.747 thousand was the development drilling, 1,628 thousand meters – the exploratory", a statement posted on the official website of SOCAR stated.
