Putin: Russia must build power bridge that to connect it with Asia-Pacific region

Russia's strategic task is the creation of the power bridge, which will connect it with the Asia-Pacific region. This was stated by the Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

He stressed that the Asia-Pacific region remained the locomotive of the world economy, despite a temporary slowdown in the Chinese economy, and as a consequence, the occurrence of difficulties in other countries in the region. Resources of Russia, Vladimir Putin assured, can significantly accelerate the development of the Asia-Pacific countries.
